If you are single...are you okay with it? Do you like being single..


if you are not single, do you like having a bf/gf? or do you really hate it because its a commitment??

Been single for about 3 and a half years now...





Was fun for a while, but starting to get over it lol
Reply:I'm married and have been for about two and half years. I don't like it. I do like having someone next to me when I sleep but as for being committed it sucks because I don't get back from him what I give him. I miss being single because I did everything for myself. I worked two jobs, bought my own car, spent all kinds of time with my friends and family. Since I've been married, I moved about 45 minutes away from my friends and family, I have to ask permission to take the car so I don't ruin his plans, we live with his parents, and he's a total jerk. I had more when I was single than I've had the whole time I've been married.
Reply:I'm currently single and yes, I'm ok with it. Sometimes it's a bit lonely but I have a lot of things going for me and I have a ton of great friends. I have a lot to focus on myself at the moment and would really like to know what I want for myself before I am ready to commit myself to another person. I don't currently want to define my life including another person in that definition. That will change though eventually. I do date though so I do go out and have fun.
Reply:I am currently single, and I have to say its 50/50 with me. Most of the time I am ok with it as I am trying to finish up my last semesters at college and get my degree and find a job. So I am pretty busy most of the time, but then it also sucks because I want to have someone other than my friends to spend time with. Someone who I can take out to dinner, a movie, go do a fun activity, just hang out at home, etc. It also doesn't help that most of my friends are in relationships and it sucks being the third or sometimes fifth wheel.

i do like being single cuz i can do my own thing with out having to check in or worry about where they are or who they are with or if they are okay.......but then agian the nights get lonely and days are long......its nice to always have someone to talk to and cuddle with at night. i like being single but i want to find my other half. someday.......when its right.
Reply:It's bittersweet. I enjoy being single only because my weeks and weekends are usually booked, so to fit in another person would be somewhat stressful. I do enjoy having a boyfriend though... there are always there for you (which can be both a good and a bad thing) and will listen to what you have to say no matter how stupid it sounds... but the commitment can be a bit of a drag...
Reply:I almost got engaged when I was 24 but found out my man was swinging the other way. All good things happen for a reason. Where I come from, I should have been barefoot and pregnant but instead turned into a career woman. Doing so has allowed me to travel, explore new cultures and cusines and constantly grow and learn. Reply:I'm single and love it, but then again when I'm dating someone I love it. I Guess it doesn't matter all that much to me.
