Happy Singles Awareness Day! So why are you single?

You see, sometimes I do have urge to get a girlfriend, but it's just that I don't understand how people have time to do that! I mean even if you're single I'm sure you can still do something for other people and other people care about you. I mean, when I was in elementary school, I asked this old woman why she didn't marry and she said she was OK with not marrying. I don't know, it may be a bad influence, but we still need to be aware that life is not just about love! You can still be happy. You should realize, if you haven't, how much of an irony the name Singles Awareness Day (SAD) is.

Happy Singles Awareness Day! So why are you single?
Because its drama free and no one tells me what to do.





I can date who I want, when I want and meet who I want without anyone getting mad, jealous or threatening to break up with me.





I can be free.





And I love it.

Reply:Why bother with a Girlfriend when you should proud of your Single its only Valentine's Day If you are Married, In a Relationship or LGBT, otherwise Its (SAD) as in Singles Awareness Day so Just Enjoy the Moment will you.
Reply:In my opinion people who stay single for long periods of time do so for one of two reasons. One, they can't find a partner, usually b/c they are shy or ugly... realistically a combination of both. (The most attractive people usually aren't very shy b/c everyone fawns over them like the second coming of Christ.) The other reason is b/c they're so popular w/ the opposite sex that they can literally play the field and sleep around w/ whoever they want. So, they don't want to settle down b/c they'd rather just party and hook up w/ a different person each weekend.





As for not having the time to date, that's a lame excuse. Consider that if you average 8 hrs of sleep per night, then you're looking 112 hrs per week when you're awake. Even if you work like crazy and do two jobs and all of that, most people aren't topping 70 hrs. So, what are you doing w/ the rest of your time?? Video games? TV? Mountain biking? Hiking? Skiing? Snowboarding? Playing cards? Chess? Going to the gym? You get my point. If you find a girlfriend who's interested in some of your same hobbies, then you can do them together, as dates, and enjoy each other's company while doing an activity you both love. Yeah, you'll see your friends less and see her somewhat often to sustain a relationship, but honestly, all the sex usually makes that more than worth it. That's not to say you HAVE to desire a relationship, but lack of time is not a good excuse for being single if you want a girlfriend and that's the only barrier that's holding you back from getting one.

I'm single because i choose to be, i just broke up with my long time boyfriend two months ago because i finally realised that i just wasn't happy and for once in my life i feel like I'm truly happy. i Don't know what it is? i think at some point in the relationship it just stopped being about him and more about being with someone, it took me a while to realise my unhappiness but I'm glad i did. I for once in my life, am truly content with my life and where it's going. I believe that it is important for people to step outside of the norm and be alone and truly get to know yourself and what you desire in another person so that when it is right in front of you, you now to go out their and grab it.......
