If single, have you given yourself a cut off period for getting married/kids?

for singles out there, have you given yourself until your 40 to get married and start a family..what if 40 comes along and you're still single..then what? Im single and i think im giving myself until i turn 39. i dont want to be an old parent, im 34 ....your thoughts?
