Staying single?

i know a guy who refuses to date as he finds it a waste of time and money. his point is that dating is a drain on his budget. most ppl in a relaionship always end up complaining...he believes one should wait for a person who he thinks he will be compatible with instead of asking every nice looking girl out. he says staying single helps him go out with friends, do what he wanst to do and focus on his career and aspirations. do you think he has a point.. should guys stay single until they are really sure about someone before asking her out. whats the advantage of staying single... he is 23

Staying single?
He is smart and knows what he wants. You already pointed out the advantages and the disadvantages are that he may not realized what type of girls he really likes and he might be missing out alot by not dating.
