Single Christian men????

Why do single Christian men not go to church? What is it that is a put off about church that they just don't go? Stats say that this group (single men 25-40) are usually the lowest demographic in churches.





There are often many single women there. A lot of churches (like mine) have awesome relavant messages.





So, what's the hang up?

Single Christian men????
The churches in the U.S. over the last two centuries have become to feminized. Too many of them pander to women because their biggest demographic is women. This means more 25-40 year old single men leave. Which makes the demographic more female. Which means the church panders more to females. See the vicious cycle?





I agree more of these guys need to be in church. That is where men's ministries like Promise Keepers and Fraternity for Men come in. Also, there is a new movement known as "para-churches" happening around the country. It's going to worship services and Bible studies at times other than Sunday morning and in places other than in traditional church buildings.
Reply:Mark it up to another of the differences between men and women. I suspect most of your "relevant messages" are touchy-feely-feel-good-God-loves-you subjects. Unfortunately, those are not a big lure to men in the age group you indicate. Talk sports and sex, or serve beer and the men will start showing up. I'm not saying it's right, just the way it is.

Reply:single yes, christian....well...not as much as a normal Church goer would like me to be. I have my own relationship with god. I don't think any single female 25-40 would approve of.

Reply:To tell you the truth I dont know! I dont go but Im usually not busy doing anything else. I dont go to clubs. I really dont know.

Reply:well im a man, and im single and christian at that! and i DO go to church every sunday, but im also only 21 , i enjoy church imust say, and yeah football is a good reason for a lot of guys to stay at home but thats why i have DVR aka Tivo so i just watch the games when i come home. But search im sure there are plenty of guys of that age range that go to church and are single. although if youre going to church shouldnt you go to church for one reason and one reason only? to find god and not single men?
Reply:Many men have a issue with pride. We think we dont really have to submit under anyone, even GoD. At times men are the most stuborn even if their christain. They dont want to step up and make a impact. Its kinda like how you see people on Maury. they dont want to step up and be the babys father. Well in this case the men dont want to do whats right because we always have second thoughts. Football always come on on Sundays too and many are uninterested
Reply:i think now a day men know that's there more activity out in this world then just going to churches probably there different in cultures out there and more interesting females in different in religion that catches their interests. its like welcome to this new age of change of lifestyle

But if they are really on fire for God and have the right mind set It wouldnt take a women to get them to go to church


God has to be 1st and if you have to have a women make you go then Gods not being put 1st is he?! =)

Reply:they really don't have reason they just don't go. it's not because they don't belive or anything. you shouldn't look for a date at church anyway
