Single Parent Discounts? Is this a good idea?

What if places like, Carnivals, and Go Kart places gave Single Parents discounts.





A single parent with two or more children has to pay for them self and the price of the child and then has to pay for them self again, and the other child and so on and so fourth. And on many rides the parent is "required" to ride with the child.





If they got Single Parent discounts then, they could ride at the price of a child again and again as needed. Or buy one ride get on free.

Nope.





There are far too many single parents this day and time. The establishments would go broke keeping up with discounts. Besides it would just be another reason to not make the most of a marriage and make it work.





Too many young people today think it is not worth the effort to make a marriage work.





I could not see justifying that.

Reply:But, parents riding with the children is for the children's safety, not pleasure. Report It

Reply:There would have to be some way to prove that they're single parents. Even so, I'm not sure that they should recieve discounts--I'm not a mom but I'm single, should I get a discount when I go places? No.
Reply:Do you mean people who never bothered to get married deserve a discount? Or do you mean divorced parents who the child is visiting that day? Or do you mean a dad who takes the kids out for the day (alone) while mom has the flu? What about a family with both parents? Don't they deserve it, too?
Reply:That's not fair why not ask for "Parent" discounts, why does it have to be a "Single" parent discount. Just because someone gets married doesn't make them more or less of a parent.
