Single and Double Replacement Paper help?

I have to write a 2pg. paper on single and double replacements for chemistry class. I need suggestions for what to talk about in the paper.

When and/or when single/double replacements occur

What is a single + double replacement

etc.

I just need more ideas (topics) to mention in the paper.

Thank you so much for you help!

Single and Double Replacement Paper help?
Okay, here are the topics I would cover, if I were writing this paper:

(A) What are two types of single displacement reactions (look up "cationic single displacement" and "anionic single displacement", and be able to explain the difference)? Give a few examples of each kind.

(B) How can you predict when a single displacement reaction will occur? Make reference to the activity series of metals. Use it to make specific predictions.

For example, you might predict that aluminum displaces copper ions from solution. But why? How is that information displayed in the activity series?

(C) Explain what a double displacement reaction is and give a few examples. Explain how a double displacement reaction is different from a single displacement reaction.

(D) Can you use diagrams? A nice diagram showing the two reactions illustrated would add much to your project. At least, it would if I were grading it. Ask your teacher.

(E) Explain what makes a double displacement reaction occur. What has to form in order for a DD reaction to occur (and as a hint, there's more than one possible answer to that question)?

(F) Reference a list of solubility rules and weak acids. Use it to back up your predictions.

You should be able to get 2 pages out of that. Good luck with your project!

EDIT: Oh, and I'm sure you figured this out, but displacement=replacement. Just in case you were wondering.
