What's so great about being single ?

Everybody says when you're single, you can go wherever you want and do whatever you want . Where do I want to go that I can't take a wife with me ? Do I even have any business being single ? Being single is the WORST ! The single life is cruel . I'm being wasted on the single life . I don't have what it takes to be single . Being single is a curse .

What's so great about being single ?
I know that feeling,single can be fun to a certain extend ,if that what you want , look like you don't. Then think hard before you get in a relation Bud. I am 58 years old,married 4 times,single for 6 years .





I take a good look at "why" after my last divorce?





I din't like to be single and lonely, didn't ask many questions either, as long as each one told me " I love you", was OK in bed, and good looking, I was game.


At 52, I realized that I losted all them years,just because I was " lonely" . I am still lonely , yet, better be lonely by your self ,then lonely with some one where there is no love in a relation. Take it for what ever it is, or worth to you.


Think about waht you are really looking for , what make you happy ,or unhappy. Even if you have to put it on paper and read it , change it , until you know ,what you want ,why you want it , and where you are going with it ,then go find it .





Think about it , you may tell a woman that you love her when you just don't like to be single? Not very nice and good.





You have the choice, to be self center and self absorbed , and a jerk,or be a nice guy?





Put your self in her "shoes" , what about she is lonely and take you just because you there for the taking , but don't really love you ?





Do you think a relation can last on that base?


Can ya"ll be happy together or just lonely together?


Then, if ya"ll have children? Then what do you tell them later, wehn the relation does not work few years down the road?





Hey, I am just an older man, what do I know about love?


Guess not much, until I started thinking about it !
Reply:to each his/her own..obviously having a mate is wonderful..you get to share your thoughts, emotions, and plans togther. BUT, there is something to be said or being single...and i think you said it best, some don't have what it takes to be single. but, do you have hat it takes to committ...good luck!
