Single Mothers of Sons...I need your help. I am doing research that is due by the end of this week.?

Hello Single Moms raising sons. I have a non profit organization for single parents and we are working on a project. Please answer the following questions for me:

1. What are the challenges you face raising your son as a single mom?

2. What is your greatest challenge? Why?

3. How confident are you that you are doing a good job raising your son?

4. What is the one thing you need that would make the difference and help you do a better job raising your son?

Thank you. If you are looking for a resource for single parents, please check out my website at http://www.singleparent411.org

Single Mothers of Sons...I need your help. I am doing research that is due by the end of this week.?
1) Taking him to have his surgerys, not having a father figure in his life, but no worries because he has mommy.

2) Raising him right, Making him a great man when he gets older and making sure he's not like his father.

3) I am doing an excellent job of raising my son.

4) Probably would be his father being in his life. But I am doing a good job all bye myself.

No woman needs a mans help to raise any of there kids. GOD made women that strong to do it own there own.
Reply:1)money. I'm the only one financially supporting me and my son.

2)not having a father for him. all kids needs both parents. my son will b 2 on the 24th and he calls 2 men who are close to him daddy and neither 1 r so it will be hard to tell him.

3)i know I'M doing a good job my son has everything he needs but its still hard.

4)his father.
Reply:My oldest son's father was a truck driver so even when we were married I felt like a single mom. I always felt like there was no one to back me up in the discipline area. He always acted like he was my equal rather than my child. I did the best I could raising him with no back up and no male example for him to follow. I wish he had a good male role model to follow and someone to back me up and tell him that I am his mother and not his buddy.
