Single-gender (gay/lesbian) relationships?

I have an essay to do on single-gender relationships. so I’m doing some research.

How do you guys feel about single-gender relationships? are you for it, against it? don’t care? or are you in a single-gender relationship yourself?

Pls share some of ur experiences and thoughts about single-gender relationships. It’ll be great help if you could link me to websites that talk about single-gender relationships or have essays about them. Thank you!

Single-gender (gay/lesbian) relationships?
My opinion is "to each his (or her) own." If someone wants to date someone in their own gender, then that is fine. It is all about the people that are directly effected by the situation. Whatever makes someone happy is all that matters.
Reply:as long as they love each other and make themselves happy theres no problem...... there shouldnt be.
Reply:A single gender relationship is fine with me, they real do no harm to our society so I don't see any problem with them.

I also like the lesbian bit because I'm a dirty ol-teen like that...(if your eighTEEN are you still a teenager or an adult?).
Reply:Technically, I'm for it . . . but I don't think it's the kind of thing that someone should be "for" or "against". Maybe I'm bias, having been in one myself . . . but love is love, right? When was the last time anyone decided "I'm going to love so-and-so"?

I think it's shameful the way some people treat the subject. You can browse this site's question and answers in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered section and see a wide array of opinions and interactions. There are many sincere answers, and also many nasty trolls. Also, Wikipedia has a lot of content on homosexuality. Those would be good places to start.
Reply:Amazingly enough everyone is actually looking for the same thing...Love. I am in a four year relationship with someone of my own gender and we are very happy. Relationships are difficult by themselves, be with parents, siblings, friends, etc.

Communication and honesty are key factors for any relationship to work. As to gay sites you could try gay.com

Good luck.
Reply:I have no problem with Gays or Lesbians choosing to be in a relationship. It's no skin off my bones, and it doesn't affect me or my life in any way once-so-ever. I'm afraid that I don't know of any sites that you could actually browse and see essays on the topic however.
